Head Coach Marty Johnson has this years team on the path to future success. With a state championship in 2007 Coach Johnson may field one of his best offense's ever in 09. A wealth of experience is coming
back this year but the defense had to prove itself last year. Moving some key players into positions to make plays will prove out to be the deciding factor with how stout that defense will be. Special teams will
also play an important part as the Irish get ready to roll for a successful 2009 football season.
Line Coach Les Phillipo is working with a strong group of seniors this year and a dedicated group of young linemen.
Nobody works any harder than the Irish line to protect our quarterbacks and open up those gaping holes for the running backs. Coach Phillipo brings a proven system to teach the Irish linemen. GO IRISH.
Coach Lane Johnson took a fairly unproven defense last year and firmed up some open positions for the starting unit during spring and summer camp. Look for the changes in Coach J's strategy to prove rewards in 2009 with a quicker and faster team on the field that can read and react with the best of them. You will see that the Irish of '09 shine on defense this year.
