Head Coach Marty Johnson has won two straight SWC championships and brings a wealth of experience into the 2008 season after a 2007 State Championship. With many returning offensive starters and a young but athletic defense, Coach Johnson is sure to keep the Irish headed in the right direction in 2008.

Line Coach Les Phillipo is working with a strong group of seniors this year and a dedicated group of young linemen. Nobody works any harder than the Irish line to protect our quarterbacks and open up those gaping holes for the running backs. Coach Phillipo brings a proven system to teach the Irish linemen. Coach Lane Johnson isnt happy about having to replace the core of his stout defensive unit from last year. But look for Coach J. to bring in some new players that plan to fly around and make plays for the Irish this year. Coach Johnson likes to mix up his run and pass defenses and always has success in keeping those opposing offensive units guessing what is coming next.
